Fluorescent dye from Dyomics GmbH (Jena, Germany) with absorbance max at 556 nm and emission max at 576 nm (measured in Ethanol) . The DY-557 fluorescent dye is soluble in water, methanol, DMF, DMSO.

The available modifications for this dye are carboxylic acid, NHS-ester, amino-derivative, maleimide, azide, and dUTP.
