Description
Indocyanine green or ICG, also known as Cardiogreen, is a negatively charged fluorescent polymethine dye that forms noncovalent fluorescent complexes with proteins. The fluorescent properties of ICG has been utilized for many applications including in vivo imaging of tumors, protein determination by capillary electrophoresis with diode laser-induced fluorescence detection, functional imaging of cardiac, circulatory, hepatic and ophthalmic conditions.
MediLumine’s Cardiogreen dye has an absorption peak at 780 nm +/- 4 nm and emission peak at 820 nm +/- 4 nm. The dye is ideal for near infrared imaging applications such as NIR I and NIR II in vivo imaging.
