MediLumine launches new universal mouse restrainer for partial body irradiation is designed to allow irradiation of right, left, or dual flank tumors. The restrainer’s rectangular design facilitates the loading of mice with flank tumors head first instead of pulling the mouse in the restrainer with it’s tail. The head cone (instead of nose cone) prevents asphyxiation. The coated lead insert ensures that radiation is delivered only to the flank tumor and not the other parts of mouse’s body. Restrainer accommodates nearly all sizes of mice (15-40g).
