Fluorescent dye from Dyomics GmbH (Jena, Germany) with absorbance max at 493 nm and emission max at 518 nm (measured in PBS) . The DY-488 fluorescent dye is soluble in water, methanol.

The available modifications for this dye are carboxylic acid, NHS-ester, amino-derivative, maleimide, azide, alkyne, phalloidin, and dUTP.
