Description
Near-Infrared Optical Angiography Agent for Vascular Imaging
Product Overview
NiraWave™ nano 780 is a nanoparticulate near-infrared fluorescence imaging agent developed for high-resolution visualization of vascular architecture and angiogenic processes in preclinical models. Its optical profile supports sensitive detection of vascular fine structure while enabling assessment of tumor- and inflammation-associated angiogenesis.
The agent combines a broad excitation range with high quantum yield and near-infrared emission, supporting deep tissue imaging and reduced background autofluorescence in small animal studies.
Key Features
- High Stokes shift with strong resistance to photobleaching
- Extended intravascular circulation supporting steady-state imaging
- Broad excitation range compatible with common preclinical optical systems
- Accumulation in liver and spleen following systemic administration
Research Applications
NiraWave™ nano 780 is suitable for:
- Optical angiography of peripheral and central vasculature
- Visualization of vascular microstructure in small animal models
- Investigation of angiogenesis in tumor and inflammatory conditions
- Evaluation of vascular remodeling during disease progression or therapy

NiraWave nano 780
Optical Properties
Emission wavelength: 780 nm
Excitation wavelength: below 740 nm
Near-infrared emission supports improved tissue penetration and enhanced vessel-to-background contrast in vivo.

Left: Optical angiography in mouse injected with NiraWave nano 780. The fine structure of blood vessels is clearly visible, for example, in the hind limbs.
Right: Color-coded image of the same animal showing a vascularized tumor in the hind limb.
Preclinical Imaging Performance
In mouse optical angiography studies, NiraWave™ nano 780 enables clear delineation of vascular fine structures, including vessels in the hind limbs and peripheral circulation. In tumor-bearing animals, color-coded imaging highlights vascularized tumor regions, facilitating assessment of tumor-associated angiogenesis.
Absorption and emission spectra confirm stable optical performance suitable for quantitative imaging workflows.
