PolySon™ T

Description

Product Overview

PolySon™ T is a preclinical ultrasound contrast agent comprising microbubbles optimized for tumor imaging. Its high echogenicity and prolonged circulation time enhance visualization of vascularized tumors in animal models, enabling detailed assessment of tumor vasculature.

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) image of the left liver lobe of an HBV-transgenic mouse showing hyperenhancement of a hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) nodule (white arrow) at 6 s post injection of PolySon T.

Research Applications

PolySon™ T supports detection and monitoring of tumors, evaluation of tumor progression, and assessment of therapeutic efficacy in preclinical studies. The agent is particularly suitable for longitudinal studies requiring repeated imaging sessions.

Imaging Characteristics

The microbubbles have a number-weighted particle size of 1-3 µm, providing robust contrast at standard ultrasound frequencies. Long blood half-life ensures a broad imaging window for dynamic studies.

Advantages for Preclinical Tumor Imaging

PolySon™ T offers consistent and high-contrast imaging of tumor vasculature, facilitating precise monitoring of tumor development and response to interventions. Its design allows enhanced visualization in highly vascularized lesions.

Preclinical Imaging Validation

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) of HBV-transgenic mouse liver demonstrates rapid and sustained enhancement of hepatocellular carcinoma nodules. PolySon™ T enables accurate identification and temporal monitoring of tumor vascularization.

Ordering and Distribution

PolySon™ T is available in single and multiple injection packs. Ordering through an authorized distributor ensures local availability, technical support, and guidance for preclinical tumor imaging protocols.
