MediLumine Launches Preclinical CRO Services

We are pleased to introduce our new CRO In Vivo Imaging and Analytical Services, designed to support academic and preclinical researchers in the fields of biomedical science, pharmacology, and molecular imaging. Our services combine validated imaging technologies and analytical platforms to deliver reproducible, quantitative data for a wide range of research applications.

In Vivo Imaging Services

Our in vivo imaging capabilities enable longitudinal, non-invasive monitoring of physiological, anatomical, and molecular processes in small animal models. These services are well-suited for studies involving disease progression, therapeutic efficacy, and biodistribution analysis.

Available Modalities:

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI):
High-resolution imaging for anatomical and functional studies, including applications in neuroscience, oncology, and cardiology.
  • Optical Imaging (Bioluminescence and Fluorescence):
Enables detection of cellular and molecular events in vivo, such as gene expression, protein activity, and cell tracking.
  • Positron Emission Tomography–Computed Tomography (PET-CT):
Quantitative imaging of metabolic activity and tracer distribution with high sensitivity, suitable for oncology, neurology, and immunology research.
  • Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography–Computed Tomography (SPECT-CT):
Provides functional and anatomical data for applications including pharmacokinetics, receptor binding, and radioligand evaluation.
  • Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA):
Measures bone mineral density (BMD), body composition, and lean/fat mass in rodent models.
  • Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) Imaging:
Offers deep tissue penetration and high contrast imaging for real-time assessment of drug biodistribution and vascular imaging.
  • Mesoscopic Calcium Imaging:
Enables functional mapping of neuronal activity using genetically encoded calcium indicators, with mesoscale coverage of cortical dynamics.

Analytical Services

Our analytical services support compound characterization, quality control, and biomolecular research with high reproducibility and sensitivity. These methods are optimized for small molecules, biologics, and contrast agent development.

Available Techniques:

  • Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC):
Used for drug quantification, metabolite profiling, purity assessment, and stability testing.
  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Mass Spectrometry:
Applied for structural elucidation, molecular identification, and confirmation of compound integrity.

Our team of imaging scientists and analytical chemists is available to assist with study design, data interpretation, and custom protocol development. Whether you are engaged in early-stage discovery or translational research, our services are structured to complement and advance your scientific goals.
