The Locking Pegs fit into the In Vivo Gripper’s grid and hold the Mvein or Rvein firmly in place. With suction feet anchoring the Gripper to the bench, the restrainer can’t slide or tip, and both hands are free for the injection.
The Pegs work with both the Mvein for mice and the Rvein for rats. Setup takes seconds and needs no tools: place the restrainer, set the pegs, and inject. The tail stays in the same position from one animal to the next, and less handling with fewer missed injections makes this a direct refinement under the 3Rs.
